Undescribed Xanthogramma?

Does anybody know this species of Xanthogramma?
Shot in Puerto Lumbreras, SE Spain at 600 masl in semiarid scrubland feeding on Thapsia sp. Size aprox. 1 cm.

Is it normal that the spots in tergite 2 should be a band? I have seen some male specimens in Insectarium Virtual that have two triangular spots instead of the band this one has.
