Hi,

This looks very similar to the male Epistrophe eligans in pattern. There is only one pic of a female in the Gallery and it has different markings.

Taken on 9th June 2008.
Near Lincoln, UK.
On Pittosporum 'Eilsa Keighley' leaf.

Yes. The abdomenal marking in this species is rather variable.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
