Hello to all,
does anybody know this Bombyliidae that I found at the edge of a river (Rio Guarga) and which was about as big as 1cm?

Date: 30.4.2008
Location: Spain, Prov. Aragon/Huesca, a few kms south of Sabinanigo, close to the village of Lanave.

Greetings
Rupert

not seen this one but the wing pattern strongly suggests Conophorus pictipennis.

Another potential candidate for the gallery I think, if Rupert doesn't mind submitting it Smile
