Hello diptero forum,

Today I found this little fly in the south of the Netherlands. Alie van Erkelens told me on a dutch forum it might be Anthomyia pluvialis. Can I give it this name of is Anthomyia spec a better name?

As to the pattern of the black marks, this female might well belong to A. pluvialis, but since there are a few similar species, better label the pic A. cf. pluvialis!
