Photo 1 and 2 shows the same fly taken at: Switzerland, Wattwil SG, 750 m NN, April 28. 2005
Photo 3 the May 1. 2005, the same place.

Ahhh, very nice Foto. I agree with Theo - unmistakable, and one of my favourites too - when you see these flies you know spring is here and the tach season has started! Smile

I just noticed that the pictures are not from the same specimen.
The middle one is a male, actually.
