Hello!

I have taken this and more photos from this hoverfly at a lakeshore in Hungary. Can anyone identify it?

Not Xanthogramma, but a species of Chrysotoxum.
Unfortunately one can't see the base of the femur of legs 1 and 2 very well. When they are yellow it would be C. festivum, when they are black it would be C. vernale.
If I look at the first leg in the upper part of the picture it seems to be yellow (if that is the whole leg we see), so my guess would be C. festivum, a female.
