Hello!

This small fly occured in my garden in Hungary. I could take only this photo from it in early spring (17th of April 2008). I hope someone will able to determine it. Thank you in advance.

Hello Gabor!

I spotted it accidentally on a leaf and I tried to take some photo but unfortunately only this one was made because this tiny fly had flown away and vanished from my sight...

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
