This one seems to be a female of Helophilus affinis, because of it's tergites with the hind margin black, and because of the pale tars and tibia that is visible. Females in other Helophilus species have their tarsae often strongly darkened!

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
