Reminiscent of Leucozona (I.) laternarius in the key to hoverfly larvae by Graham Rotheray.

Hmmmm, I must say I'm not convinced this is a larva of Leucozona! Looking at the shape and the color pattern my suggestion would be something like a larva of Melangyna, like M. umbellatarum in Rotheray's book! Greetings, Greetings, Gerard Pennards |
