Hi,
This seem to be pair of Stevenia cf. angustifrons. but female middle femur seem to be red. does it still S.angustifrons?
And now to a bigger strange question, why does the two couple has only 4 legs each?

The females are always much redder on abdomen than males in this species.

Hi Theo,
Not long ago I had posted a female photo here http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=11900&pid=56254#post_56254 both had red abdomen but last time female had black femur and here is it bright red. Does this colore variation acceptable inside this sp?
