hi flyforum, Today I found this comic fly in the Amsterdam forest. I think it is a Oecothea sp., but which one? 1. Oecothea fenestralis (Fall?n, 1820) 2. This is a female Eccoptomera; Oecothea has bristles on the mid-tibia. |

hi Andrzej, When I first looked at this fly, I thought the eyes where abnormal!? (so small) I'll check out the scutellum tomorrow, I am not at my desk now.
