Hi,

I'm more or less a newbie at diptera. And a newbie on this site as well...

The pic is not too good... but is it good enough to say his is a Lucilia sericata, or is a caesar still possible, or perhaps even another one?

The picture is not good enough to be sure. I would say that sericata is the most likely, and that we can probably rule out caesar.
