This Brachycera was found in the Swedish mountains (altitude about +700m above sea level) July 2025 in a dense spruce forest close to a small ditch. It has been preserved in alcohol so the colors have changed a bit compared to the natural ones.
Is it possible to say what genus it could be so I could start looking for a key. Could it perhaps be a Empidoidea?

Not sure why this post ended up in Asilidea forum, perhaps my profile is linked to that?
