Hello, This fly was found in the Pyrenees at an altitude of 1,500 meters. Should it be Periscepsia carbonaria or Kirbya moerens? I'm leaning toward the former because : - Periscepsia's third antennal segment is larger than Kirby's one - it has a pair of post-sutural ac setae, which I believe Kirbya doesn't have? ![]() ANDRE LABETAA : France : Counozouls : 11140 : 07/06/2025 Altitude : 1509 m - Taille : 6-7 mm ? Periscepsia carbonaria is correct, I think (Kirbya moerens is an early spring species).
