Should be a female of either Thecophora atra Fabricius or Th. fulvipes Robineau-Desvoidy. More than that I do not dare say. The dustspots of the thorax are well defined, which according to van Veens key fits fulvipes better. But Femur 3 seems to be yellow at the basal half, which fits atra very well. Well, I haven't seen these species so I don't know! You have seen van Veens online key to Conopidae? You find it at: http://home.hccnet.nl/mp.van.veen/conopidae/index.html |

Thank you If it is fulvipes or atra, the size (much smaller than 7mm) could perhaps exclude fulvipes. |
