Hello,

this tachinid fly is a little less than 1 cm long. It hatched out of caterpillars of Erannis defoiliaria. Can someone identify it?

Location: Germany, Rhineland-Palatinum, 53572 Unkel, river Rhine valley, Stux hill, dry and warm habitat (grapeyards), nearby deciduous forest (oak, beech ...), May 13th, 2025

Thanks in advance for an answer,

Michael.
