Apparently a Dichaeta. To my knowledge only six species are known. Somebody should be able to identify such conscpicuous, black and white patterned fly. |

Dichaeta species are dark brown to black in colour, lacking the pale dusting seen on this specimen. I would say this is Notiphila decorata (or a related species), which has a similar spiny abdomen as in Dichaeta.
