Found in Eindhoven (Netherlands), 29-02-2008

The picture is not the best for identification, I think.
Thanks in advance

To me, it is more like a Muscidae. The head profile does not match Pollenia, nor the hairingn on the arista. The 'Pollenia-hairs' you see are artificial due to the flash.
So, can some Muscina-expert please comment ?

I think Theo is right.
Pollenia has much wider parafascialia, another leg chaetotaxy.
Muscina (prolapsa/pascuorum) is my best guess too.

Thank you for your replies. I think Theo and Nikita are right. It belongs to the Muscina sp.
