Good afternoon. TuesdayApril 22, 2025. I found this Syrphidae on a Cistus ladanifer flower in Minas de Riotinto (Huelva). I think it is a Melanogaster species. ![]() And if affirmative, is it possible to reach species level qith this photo. It did not allow me another shot. Thanks and saludos! I think Melanogaster is correct and from what I see (black flagellum, scutum with pale, erect hairs) it could be M. hirtella.
