Hello,

I have some doubts about the identification of this male Ectophasia. The wings look rather whitish to me, and the abdominal mark—at least the little we can see of it—seems to widen quite rapidly...

Is that enough to conclude that it is Ectophasia leucoptera, or could it still be Ectophasia crassipennis?

Hello JC, I'm quite sure, it's a male E. crassipennis: the wings are distinctly marked and the median stripe on the abdomen is not as wide as it should be in E. leucoptera.
Greetings, Eric

I agree. crassipennis is unfortunately very variable.
