Hi, does anyone know where I can find more information about this species?

There is a type specimen registered in the database of the British Natural History Museum, but I cannot find any formal description of the species. https://data.nhm....rd/6603500

Thanks in advance!

I think "(ms)" means "manuscript", a name that was not published. Possibly Spencer decided the specimen was Phytomyza notata, the name he crossed out on the label, before he published the new name.

Thank you John!

That sounds plausible.
