Have a nice Day. A question pleas. Is this a Chironomini species? I would be very grateful for an answer. Kind regards Karl.
Finding data: Austria, Lower Austria, Tattendorf, 220m, semi-dry flowering area, May 11, 2024, Size: ca. 2,3 mm

Tribe Chironomini. If the wings are hairy possibly a Polypedilum (Pentapedilum).

Hello John thank you for the Answer. I will go to Chironomidae sp. remain. At maximum magnification you can see a bit of hair on the edges of the wings. But unfortunately the photo is simply too blurry at maximum magnification to see it clearly.
