I wonder about the family of this one, found dead in Kourou, French Guiana It seems to me it is a bit like a Muscidae by some aspects, but really I don't know. Some neotropical Muscidae have such wing markings. A key to the spceies of one strongly marked genus is A new species of Cyrtoneuropsis (Diptera: Muscidae) with considerations on the phylogeny of the genus. I don't know if that is the right genus. |
