More possible than genus? 13 June 2024, Berlin-Friedirchshain, Cemetery. About 8mm or bigger. She wass hovering above sandy ground, actually touching it an leaving a tiny pit. Does Villa load sand, was ist that? Thank you for your expertise, Jörg

I think it's a female Villa hottentotta - probably laying eggs near it's host Agrotis exclamationis.
