Hello,

Yesterday I photographed this fly in the immediate vicinity of an insect hotel. Size was about 8-9 mm ±. What species could this be? It has a conspicuously long abdomen. The Arista does not appear to be feathered, which would be more in favour of E. histrio. What do you think, is it E. histrio or E. festiva?

Thanks and greetings, Volker
