Hi,

this time its a tiny black fly with a swollen abdomen and yellowish wings. My best guess would be a Lauxaniidae, maybe Minettia longipennis. Is it possible to identify the species from the pictures?

Germany, Southern Bavaria, Munich (-West), shrub leaf, 07.06.2024, app. 3-4 mm

Greetings, Uli

Minettia longipennis is hard to misidentify.
Best regards,
Jürgen

Hi Jürgen,

thanks, that is good to know. For me, it was hard enough to identify it. Wink

Thanks and greetings, Uli
