Hello Forum,

one more fly from the alder marshland in Hagen (D) 175 m above sea level. This photo I took on June 6th 2007. The fly was on a grey colourd metal fence that is around the arteficial marshland area.

It should be one of the Muscidae family. Perhaps Stomoxys calcitrans?

Muscidae, but not Stomoxys.
Probably Mydaea corni
