Bioparque Amaru, Cuenca, Andes of Ecuador. Dry forest surroundings.
They're similar to the A. albovittata found in the river shore of the city, but with prominent dark costal area on the wings.

Could this be Anthomyia lindigii? The text provided by John Carr said that dark costal area is one of the main differences with A. albovittata...

Here is Schiner's description. I have corrected the OCR errors I noticed. More may remain.

ANTHOMYIA LINDIGII n. sp,

Rückenschild sammtschwarz, mit zwei weissen, vom etwas
divergireiulen und hinten auch über das Schildchen fortgesetzten
Längsstriemen; zwischen den Schultern und den Flügelwurzeln eine eben
so gefärbte breite Strieme, unter welcher die Brustseiten
sammtschwarz, dann wieder striemenartig weiss gefärbt sind;
Hinterrücken grau. Hinterleib scwarz, vom zweiten Ringe angefangen
mit weissen grossen Seitenflecken, welche die Grundfarbe nur an den
Einschnitten und auf der Mitte als Rückenlinie freilassen; diese
Flecke treten nur in gewisser Richtung scharf hervor, in anderer
Richtung erscheint der ganze Hinterleib einfärbig grau. Kopf
sammtschwarz; Untergesicht etwas grau schimmernd, die Augenränder
silberweiss; Stirndreieck des Männchens sammtschwarz, an den Seiten
weiss, Stirne des Weibchens gleichbreit mit mattschwarzer
Mittelstrieme; Fühler schwarzbraun, Rüssel und Taster schwarz. Beine
pechschwarz. Flügel sehr blass bräunlich tingirt, am Vorderrande bis
zur Mündung der Radialader und gegen unten zu bis etwas über diese
Ader hinaus intensiv schwarzbraun, die untere Grenze etwas
verwaschen; Discoidal- und Cubitalader parallel, hintere Querader
gerade. 3 . Drei Männchen und acht Weibchen aus Süd-Amerika.

Die Art gohört in jene Gruppe der Anthomyien, bei welcher die Stirne
lang und schief, das Untergesicht gerade und am Mundrande nur wenig
vorgezogen ist, der schmale und lange Hinterleib sieh aber dadurch
auszeichnet, dass er ganz inhaltslos zu sein scheint und so flach
gedrückt ist, wie ein Band.
