Hello,
I found this little Dolichopodidae in a wasteland full of wild plants and close to a large pond. It was in Villeneuve d'Ascq in the Nord department in France.
The insect was settled on a Helminthotheca echioides leaf and was eating a small worm.
I think, without being entirely sure, that it belongs to the genus Argyra.
Is it the right genus and can we consider a species from my photos ?
Thanks in advance,
Dominique

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
