Found in a vane trap near Birch Green, southwest of Colchester UK, September 2023.

Tiny, less than 2mm and dorso-ventrally flattened. Apologies for the quality of the photo.

Lesser dung fly or Sphaeroceridae. British key ends up with Ischiolepta scabricula.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
