 Hello,

I photographed this fly on the shore in Kendwa, Zanzibar (Tanzania), on February 25th 2023. I think it may be an Ephydridae, but I'm not completely sure. Is it possible to identify its genus or species from these photos?

 Thank you so much John! Following the keys in that article H. nuda seems indeed to be the best option.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
