 Hello,
South of France, August 30, 2023.
It is set on Ivy and measures about 10 - 11 mm.
I was only able to take this one photo.
I think it's a Syrphidae?
Thank you for your help in identifying it

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
