Hello everyone,

is it possible to identify this Chrysotoxum down to the species? The shooting angle is unfavorable, but I only have this one picture. I took the picture on 08/18/23 in the Black Forest, south-west Germany.

Greetings Siggi

Hi Siggi, I'm pretty sure it's a female Chrysotoxum arcuatum.
Greetings, Eric Kloeckner
