Hi all! For Eriozona erratica the R3 doesn't seem to be correctly bent, so I don't find any but Parasyrphus looking similar to this. Can it be determined by this picture? Approx. 12 mm 13.8.2023, Austria, State of Salzburg, Pongau region, near Mt. Hello Rupert, a Syrphus female. Doesn't seem to have hairy eyes, so not S. torvus. If you have a photo, which shows the hind femora colour, we can tell whether it is S. ribesii (femora nearly completely yellow) or S. vitripennis (femora mostly dark). From the general expression I'd vote for ribesii. Parasyrphus are smaller and predominantly spring species.
