Hello all,

There is a tachinid here that I am having a bit of a hard time with. It has the prosternum bare but is almost definitely an Exoristine. The anterodorsal comb on the hind tibiae appears quite ciliate to me but that couplet can be pretty wishy washy. If ciliate, and we pretend the prosternum is setose, then it keys to Goniini like Blepharipa, Blepharella, Sturmia, etc. It keys to Blepharipa in the Manual of Nearctic Diptera. In Townsend's Manual of Myiology it keys to the genera now considered synonyms of Blepharella. Unfortunately it is a female. I don't know if it's something introduced or something, but the fact that the prosternum bare should eliminate many options.

Thanks
