Hello,
is genus Lucilia correct and is it possible to identify the species?
I took the photos on 30. July in our garden in Northern Germany.
Thank you very much!

Hello Frank, sorry, but it's not possible to identify this fly from your images. I cannot even exclude Bellardia. To identify a Calliphorida from photos we'd need at least good dorsal and lateral images (better frontal and caudal, too).
Greetings, Eric Kloeckner

Thank you very much Eric - I "feared" something in this direction....
Unfortunately, I can't control the flight of the insects through my light barrier, otherwise I would have taken a picture from the dorsal Cool

Best wishes, Frank
