Hi,

I have some troubles with these two small Asilids. I collected them in Baix Pallars, Catalunya at 1280 m.a.s.l., see here https://old.obser...4?_popup=1for more locality details.
I am not sure off the genus, Holopogon seems to get close but there are some characteristics that don't fit well. Furthermore, the cited Holopogon species in Spain don't seem to fit and with Engel 1930 I also don't manage to get to a reasonable species when trying the Holopogon key.

Does someone have any idea?

Best, Jonne

Edit: I can't seem to upload the images even though they are .jpg and they do not exceed the max. filesize. I'm afraid you can only view the pictures in the url above.

Very interesting find. The specimens don't look quite right for Holopogon, but I'm not yet sure what genus they belong to.
