Hi, I found this one in Hungary. About my key, Eliozeta has three st, and Clytiomyia has 2. But it writes as well, that in Clitiomyia there has to be just one anterodorsal bristle on the middle tibia. I took a photo of the middle tibia and I see 2 ad. Or maybe, one of them are an av? My key writes as well, that in Eliozeta there are no inner bristles on the middle tibia. But.. Ad isn’t an inner bristle? Could you help me please? And besides this, I would say that this a Clytiomyia continua, but what about sola? Could it be excluded about these pictures? Hairs on pleura are mostly white, so that settles it straightforwardly: Clytiomyia sola (female) Theo |

Thank you! How can you say that this is a female? What is the main difference between females and males in this genus? And in Clitiomyia continua, those haires are rather yellowish/darkish? |

In all other species (north of Greece, that is) all hairs on pleura ate black. In males, the orange parafrontals nearly touch. Check Pierfillipo Cerretti's book, if you have the opportunity. Theo |
