I collected this in Idaho, USA, last summer. Found in forest habitat, water sources nearby. Size is incredibly small (it's on a cardstock point in the image for scale). Can provide better pictures if that would help! I've never seen anything like it before.

Sciaridae. Simuliidae have short antennae.
