IUCN published today the European red list Syrphidae. A small flight for a hoverfly, a giant leap for Syrphidology ! It pays to be big, pretty, and diurnal. Many tiny, dull, nocturnal Forcipomyia are pollinators too. |

That’s why we need to (start) talk(ing) about the reasons for this decline… if we tackle those for Syrohidae, we tackle those for Forcipomyia and other pollinators likely as well Theo |
