It seems that the eyes has no hairs, so that makes you're right.

You did something to the picture that make the colors of the legs, sides of thorax and frons too red.. should be yellowish..
This is ribesii/vitripennis, because we can't really see the color of the microtrichia on the hind tip of the femur (though it does tend to be black, in that case it's ribesii).
