Hello,

this one did not seem to be the usual Tachina fera today in our courtyard (northwest Germany). Is Peleteria rubescens correct?

Hallo Jürgen, Peleteria is correct, but I'm not sure if it's rubescens as the tergites do not seem to be distinctly dusted basally?

There is only one species at Juergen’s with dark antenna … rubescens.
