"do you see? I can hold you and doing other things at the same time"  the female told " you forgot my gift!!" oh.. yeeah... empidids are famous because the males usually give a gift (a juicy prey) to the females before the act.  "i don't care. I'm in a hurry."  |

Unfortunately, I could not get any other angle due to the situation of the flies inside a currant shrub. Philippe |

I think got picture with gift last week. The gift maybe a Bibio marci male.
