February 2022, Eastern Europe, Donetsk city. Wintered in an abandoned nest of the wasp Polistes doninula.

The chances of being able tio identify male of Megaselia from photos are slim (unless they have some conspicuous characteristics), the chances of being able to identify a female (as this specimen is) are even smaller.
