Hello,

I photographed this fly in Campo Imperatore (AQ), Italy, 1800m a.s.l. on July 14th 2019. I think it is a Tipulidae, but is it possible to identify its genus or species from these photos?

Thank you in advance,
Emanuele

Genus and subgenus is quite easy, but a female in Italy...
Tipula (Lunatipula) sp.
Anyway, if you wan't to collect some in alcohol, I'd be happy to identify some Smile

Thank you so much! I usually don't collect specimens, but I'll try to catch some if I manage to find them again, I've always been curious about the identity of these mountain species.
