Dear all,
This syritta was photographed in Provence, Mediterranean France, on June 7th, 2021.
At first glance I thought it was S. pipiens which is regularly seen at the location (my garden), but the all-orange legs 1 and 2, and the mainly pale tergites with restricted narrow black bands on the external sides of tergites 1 and 2 seem perhaps odd for this species. I suspect it could be S. flaviventris, the only other Syritta species recorded in France. Unfortunately I've no other photograph... Is it possible to confirm the ID? Many thanks for your help :-)
