These flies were photographed on October 23th in central Greece. They were walking on a dead Apis melifera, which was getting eaten by a Thomisus onustus. Any help with the identification is highly appreciated.

The ones that show enough details are certainly Desmometopa, but species from other genera may join in the frenzy.
