Thaumatomyia notata?

Thaumatomyia based on comparison of genera against gallery images
plus description of genus as having "flat scutellum with apical setae close together"
(ruling out Chlorops which looks visually the most similar).

Then following splits to species here :

I think it appears more correct to say it has
"Gena narrow, no more than 0.5 depth of first flagellomere"
than..."Gena broad, as deep or deeper than first flagellomere"
