Hi, during a photo shooting with a Linnaemya picta I could take 2 photos of this one - but only dorsal before it escaped. Can it be an Estheria petiolata? EDIT: No - but can it be Ramonda spathulata?

No, these Estheria has a red scutellum.

What about size ? Bigger or smaller than Linnaemyia ?

It's about 90% of the Linnaemya.

I could not find the fly again but measured the background: the fly was about 8 mm long.
Can it be Ramonda spathulata? The wings seem to be identical with images in the forum.
