I aploogize for the quality of the pics. This is the smallest Diptera that I have ever seen and photographed. The body lengh is less than 1 mm, the total lentgh with antenna and wings maybe slightly less than 2 mm. Looks a little bit like Ceratopogonidae, buc could also be a Cecidomyiidae. Not sure if Ceratopogonids can bw this small.
